Looking for information on Frank Leonard Sumner born Lewisham 1887. What happened to him after he married in 1916.

Looking at the marriage to Nellie P Spratley in 1916 - the above Franks wife is a Nellie - looks like  bad news for you  :(

Thanks. My Frank Sumner would have been about 30 then. I should have added that his parents were James Tucker Sumner and Caroline Sarah Cuthbert.  :)

Who did he marry  ? was it Alice Wharren ?

Are you sure Frank was born in 1887?

There is a Frank L Sumner in the 1939  Register, married but on his own, with an 1889 birth date.

We are not allowed to post 1939 details but there is one in Cheshire and also one in Greenwich which seems more likely.
