Dorset Family History Society’s On-Line Talk
« on: Thursday 09 July 20 20:34 BST (UK) »
Dorset Family History Society is hosting an on-line talk on Tuesday 21st July 2020 from 7.30pm - 9.30pm (approx.)

ON-LINE SPEAKER IS JANE FERENTZI-SHEPPARD talking on  ‘FINDING EVIDENCE OF MIGRATION IN DORSET RECORDS’

Surprisingly large numbers of people have left Dorset, and Jane helps to find how and where they went, and provides some sources to trace those ancestors. Who were the people that went? What were the social and economic conditions that were the deciding factors for migration? Why did they go? Where did they go?

Jane has given training courses for the Society and past talks. She is heavily involved with family history and is one of Britain’s leading tutors on the subject.

To access the talk please email liaison@dorsetfhs.org.uk from the week before. An invitation will be sent out with sign in details, and then sign in to Zoom from 7.15pm on the night. The Society would welcome a contribution towards the cost via our website.  Thank you.
