Apologies, Peter and Jeanne Moody mother's maiden name states Webb not Stride. I was a generation back too far.

This site, General Register Office (official civil records) is helpful as it shows mother’s maiden name for a birth to 1919.

I know this has all been written earlier but i hope it helps to repeat it.

The 1939 register helps with a date of birth and it has been noted by you that the year of birth is out but the day and month would indicate Winifred A Moody to be the birth in Romsey.
The death of Winifred Amelia Moody, in 1991, Romsey shows a birthdate of 14th October 1898

It certainly seems that Winifred Webb who married Alfred Moody is not your family and you may later want to follow the Canada references that were offered earlier by chempat.
