I was told, by staff at Burton Hospital, that if you wipe the inside of your glasses with washing up liquid, and then wipe them clean, that that will help with the steaming up.  I haven't tried it, as I have only ever worn a mask once - namely the occasion I was given the advice.

Added:  my interpretation is that you use "neat" washing up liquid.

Only go in to town once a week and have started wearing a mask in the last 2 weeks to try and get used to wearing one  now that's it compulsory ..I have the same problem with glasses steaming up and find the masks  very hot also ..One of the girls in one of the shops suggested putting surgical tape over the bridge of your nose  so think I will give it a try ..Who would think we would all be reduced to this  >:(

Here in Wales our First Minister, Mark Drakeford, thinks that the wearing of face masks is not a priority.

Cymru am byth

I have some FFP3 ones that I had when I was working with powdered glass but haven't used them for 4 months as the studios and kiln are closed. I do have a pack of the common or garden ones for going into shops or mixing. I'm not too keen on using public transport yet.

Boris is now said to be considering making them compulsory in shops, I wonder how people in pubs and cafes are going to manage eating and drinking?

A flap or zip at the front?  ;D
Removal of mask is allowed for eating, drinking, taking medication, conversing with someone who lip-reads.
Thanks for info re washing-up liquid.

I bought some medical-style masks prior to lockdown because my daughter was ill in hospital and I was concerned that they might be needed when I visited her.  I've not used them yet.

I downloaded some patterns and made a selection of masks of various styles - the earlier ones were not terribly comfortable.  The Mk 4 version, however, looks brilliant and is really comfortable to wear.  The only trouble is that as soon as I try to speak, the mask flops down below my nose.  The best masks I've come across so far are those my daughter ordered for us online - they are like soft tubular scarves/snoods, which we wear round our necks in a decorative manner, and then when we need to go into a shop or whatever, we pull them up in the manner of The Lone Ranger.  Very comfortable, nothing hanging on the ears, and you can arrange them so you have single, double or triple thickness depending on how you fold them.  And because they are stretchy, they stay put, even when I'm talking.

I would be quite happy to wear a mask all the time if it would save lives and reduce the misery/save me and others additional anxiety.   I am sure most of us are bored with it by now; but as a virus, there's no way it's going to be bored with us.  Just pretending it's not there doesn't make it go away.

Please remember that a mask is not to protect you.

A mask is to protect others from you.
