Hi, Very sorry to be so slow at this point, i have recently discovered a connection to another side of my direct family connection which has been tormenting me for years.

My connection via Ada Elizabeth Fincham, is that Horace Fincham Ada's brother whom was my grandfather on my mothers side. I made the original inquiry on Ross Healy, as his name appeared on the back of a photograph of Florence Baker, daughter of Ada Baker nee Fincham. Then discovered here the obituary on Ross.
I found the following some time ago; 1901 Ada is down as Ida Fincham u/m 22 servant in the household of William A Lacks, living at 22 Vineyard Hill?, Wimbledon, Surrey.

You can find an entry on my mother and grandmother on my dated website located under " Why Me" at

Did you intend to send an attachment of your Fincham connection?  I would like to see how your grandfather, Horace, was related to Ada Elizabeth Fincham.  Do you therefore have any distant relatives in Montreal?  Thank you.
