The parents William and Clara Emblin returned from Canada - Montreal to Liverpool  7 October 1949 on the Empress of Canada. Clara M Emblin aged 69 years. William Emblin 73 years. Both going to
Oakhill Bath. Intended future residence UK.

The newspaper Somerset Standard ran an article on 02 July 1965 of the homecoming party Alfred's siblings threw for him.  The article also has a photograph of Alfred and all his siblings, as well as information on his children, and Mr. Treasure.

If you have no access to this newspaper, send me a pm., as I can't post it here (per copyright).

Edited to add: The article makes it sound like he only returned for a 2 month visit, and then was returning to Canada.
