It was when I clicked on a leaf on shared matches .

It says you could be connected to this person ...on same page was an alternative thru route to connect ti my ancestor.  Same ancestor paternal side but route could go via paternal grandmother or grandfather because they are second cousins one of the proposed links had missed a generation from her tree
