But I'm not logging in from a library.  I'm logging in from my home on the same computer with the same internet provider that I've used for years.

It's always said that to remind you not to stay logged in on a public computer if you choose to stay logged in for the 2 weeks though.

But it's different now.  If I check the box, a red warning sign flashes.  I've tried eliminating cookies to no effect.

Since this morning I have not had to log in again after quitting FS so I wonder if it was a blip at their end?

I have done some "experimenting" by closing all the open tabs and then accessing again but no problem

Keeping my fingers crossed that it has sorted itself but it may not last.  Will let you know tomorrow😳

I find it a bit tempermental at times !
I always click to stay logged in for 2 weeks, but I log out at the end of the session. Sometimes I have to sign back in, sometimes not. I sent them an email about it and they replied very quickly with a solution. This looked a bit too confusing for me, so I just go with however it feels!

As it`s a free service I`m grateful to be using it, it has saved me quite a lot of credits on my Scottish lines!!!

Well - that didn't last.  It behaved itself during the day and I haven't had to continually log in.  Then I decided to test it by switching my iPad off & on again.

Back to square one.  Switching off & on again has never caused this problem in the past.  My desk top pc is powered off each night yet I can get into FS for 2wks without having to log in.

I don't logout of Ancestry or Rootschat & have no problem so it's something in FS
