There are advertisments for "Red House, Bridport", not sure if this is the place you want, or whether there would be another at Burton Bradstock? eg

"HOLIDAY HOME - ten minutes from Bay and Golf Links. Airy rooms. Excellent position. - RED HOUSE, West Bay Road, Bridport, Dorset."

It could be their house as they were listed as being at the Red House in 1930, then at The Retreat by 1931.

Just found this advertisement:

"GENERAL Maid (experienced) Wanted. Small house. Family three.- Mrs. Bickford, The Retreat, Burton Bradstock, Bridport."
