Family search has marriage of  James Unsworth and Ann Peers,  24 May 1801. St Nicholas, Liverpool. Is in greater detail on Free Reg
Not proof, but neat coincidence.

3 baptisms in name of Ann Peers in Lancashire area 1786-8

Does it say Ann was "a Romanist"?

Just realised that Ann would have only been about 14 in 1801!

Jon - is it possible that this baptism is a child of the dead Ann - but baptised the next year - - if not - there appears to be TWO George and Ann Unsworth having children at the same time and living in the same street - I live in Liverpool and there are a lot of houses in Parliament st

Baptism: 6 Jun 1830 St Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
George Unsworth - [Child] of George Unsworth & Ann

Hi
I guess it's possible, didn't realise the extent of Parliament Street!
A knotty problem. I was just taking a stab at it.
Perhaps we need more info from Nc.
