There is a plumber in.1925 in Ossing Westchester New york ...I wonder if that is a prison. Any ideas

does the image give enough information to tell if it was a prison? were they all inmates? etc

Yes, the image shows that he's an inmate.  Age 24, born Russia, in the US for 22 years, an alien, residence when admitted to prison - Kings Co.

Albert Silverman sentenced and received in Sing Sing on 20 Jun. 1924.  He was age 23, born Russia, resided at 429 Sackman St., Brooklyn when arrested.  Crime was 2nd degree robbery, a 1st offense.  Occupation - plumber, single.  Name of relative or friend - parents (no names given.)

So, the Albert who was hauled off to prison is not the Albert who was in the car crash in July 1924 and who lived on Belmont Street.

Ive a feeling the clues on which.Albert will be if I can link any addresses
Nellie and her daughter were living at 283 kingston avenue Brooklyn in 1934 when naturalization papers filled in.

I didnt see where it said Albert was an inmate in prison.but it was all men with proffessions and I did see an admittance form
But no clues to relations .

some trees have the murder victim as wife Katie and a son but I cant see any sources for that information.

As for the car crash Albert  # we can eliminate as being same man
..I.ll have to go back now but one of the Alberts I found and eliminated was a.truck teamster and one worked at his fathers garage ...could be indicative of fast drivers

I was looking at censuses to get addresses

Maybe he spelt his name as Silvers like his brother and one news article said he was known on ancestry
Theres a small tree on ancestry with a mugshot singsing record and two news articles ..it has the same 1930 census that I found
But lists wife as Katie
