Hello everyone,

Seeking information on my ancestor Thomas Arnold James born 1894 in Fowey . I came across an article on Cornwall and this name popped up. Apparently Thomas was Mayor of Fowey at some point in his life. This has sparked my curiosity and so "Can anyone give me more info regarding this and on the man himself?". I appreciate any help here . Thanks.

Info on the man himself can be obtained via census records and the 1939 register etc

If you check the 1939 entry you will find he was b 1893 and gives details of his wife etc

What year does the article refer to?

Have you considered contacting Fowey Town Council for info?
