Trying to find Donald Mackinnon born Isle of Skye

Trying to find my Great Great Great Grandad Donald Mackinnon.
All I have is he was from the Isle of Skye
He married a Violet Grace Anderson who was from Lowestoft, Suffolk area
Their had 5 children
Eleanor G Mackinnon born 1919 died 1919
Catherine Mackinnon born 1917 died 1944
Harriette F Mackinnon born 1920 died 1918
Stella Palmer born 1915
and my grandad
William Donald Mackinnin born 1922 died 2004
He must have die before 1933 as Violet Grace Anderson married Edward G.Anderson in 1933 Mutford. Suffolk.


I have no idea when Donald was born, why he moved away from the Isle of Skye, when and where he die, or who his parents were. Would like to know more

Led to believe that he died, as violet remarried in 1933 Anderson
Cannot find Donald's birth or death certificate.
Do not know how he ended up in Lowestoft, maybe due to WW1

I see no births 1890 to 1895 on Skye, there are only 10 Donald Mackinnon/McKinnon births between 1890 & 1895 showing anywhere on Scotland’s people. Some of those have a second name, might be worth looking through the ones that don’t first.

To my knowledge Donald died and Violet remarried, my grandad William Donald Mackinnon (born 1922) was the youngest child of Donald and Violet, my grandad did not talk about his dad, or had an information, other that Donald was from Wetern Isles, possible Iske of Skye
