How to complain about an eBay seller??

So if you've asked ebay to step in, ebay takes it's own sweet time to decide.

Expect it to take a week.

I haven't been able to ask eBay to step in, I can't do that because the automated reply is saying the item is on the way, contact the seller.  Hermes says it isn't on the way and the seller doesn't respond. That's why I was asking how I can get eBay to step in.

You need to follow the Ebay procedures for an item that has not been received.

Send the seller a message advising that the item has not been received.

Wait, and they have 8 days to respond.

If they fail to respond raise a request for Ebay to step in, Ebay will freeze the amount you paid in the sellers Paypal account.

Eventually Ebay will give you your cash back.

You can telephone Ebay if you cannot do anything online.

I've sent two messages to say it has not been received, they said I will receive it, then ignored my further messages because they haven't sent it. That was more than eight days ago. I am unable to raise it with eBay as I just get an automated message that the item has been sent. It hasn't. I didn't pay by PayPal, I paid by credit card.

Have you tried the below option?  You may need to wait until the day time before you can do this.

No I haven't GG, was hoping to avoid that. Looks like I might have no other option.

Let the seller know you didn't receive the item. Once you do, they have 8 calendar days to respond. If you don't hear back or can't sort something out, you can ask us to step in beginning Jul. 30.

Thanks but as I said in previous replies, that doesn't work as the system says the seller has sent the item, although they haven't.
