By the way, a link to Ancestry is only useful to those who have a subscription - the reference is better really (HO 107/2075/497/47)

Whoops that was wrong the piece number is 2175  :-[

On Find My Past the census reference details are usually found under the list of people in the household on the transcription page.

For example a census reference for one of my ancestors in the 1881 census

Registration district   Birmingham
Archive reference   RG11
Piece number   2979
Folio   29
Page   4
Ashford: Somerset, London
England: Devon, London, New Zealand
Holdway: Wiltshire
Hooper: Bristol, Somerset
Knowling: Devon, London
Southcott: Devon, China
Strong: Wiltshire
Watson: Cambridgeshire
White: Bristol
Windo - Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire

That's right, the correct reference for your person is HO107; Piece: 2175; Folio: 497; Page: 47, which can be shortened to HO107/2175/497/47. The GSU Roll is of no relevance to the reference as a finding aid and can be omitted.

Sometimes the references given can be incorrect and I always try to check them with the original image.
