The 3 chaps were all taken against the same backdrop & some of the props appear in all 3.
You can see the curtain has been draped over a posing stand. The base being visible in 2 of them.
Quite common in the 1860's not so much, in fact hardly at all in the 1870's.
The morning jackets being worn by the 2 young chaps was becoming popular in the late 60's.
Worn like this with contrasting trousers as casual wear.
The young chap with the horse bronze has a matching outfit which looks, along with the white tie
a formal outfit the sort of style a butler might wear.
Late 1860's would be my estimate of the chap in casual wear.
