Christopher Lofthouse, Hutton Conyers

Hello,

Christopher gives this as his birthplace on the 1851 Census, born c. 1780. His death record and burial indicates c. 1779. Can anyone please look for a baptism for him? I’ve looked on FamilySearch and FindMyPast.

I’d appreciate any help!

The only one on Ancestry about 10 miles north.

I’m not sure that’s him. Apparently Hutton Conyers was extra-parochial, so he may not have been christened at all.

Also trying to find the burial of his wife Mary. Their last christened child was at the independent church in Hammerton Green in 1820, and in 1824 Christopher remarried in Great Ouseburn. Not having any luck :(
