You've definitely helped! It was very useful having a fresh pair of eyes looking at it.

It looks like Thomas Foster married Dorothy Harvey in 1725 in Denby, Derbyshire. I have found some wills for the Harvey family back to the early 1600s this evening!

This entire branch of my family has been very interesting. Mary Rogers (my 5x great grandmother and daughter of Mary Foster) and her husband John Marsh are common ancestors on a DNA test. They are vital as they helped me to prove the biological father of my illegitimate great grandmother!

I have been able to get several of my great great grandfather's line back to the 1700s. This is the first branch of his that I have pushed back to the 1600s! I am absolutely thrilled! :-)

John Marsh is another mystery too, but that's for another day.

Thank you for telling me about the Yesterday's Journeys' website. It has been very useful for my research over the last few years. Any resources or websites you can recommend is very appreciated.

Oh Wow -- how good that you have found an old Will. Sometimes they can be like gold dust.

I have no Derbyshire ancestors - and I cannot remember how I found out about Yesterdays Journey. I only thought I would mention it because I knew it was Derbyshire related.

Good Luck with the remainder of your research!
