siskin Tipperary

Could some kind roots chat collague please inform me if they know of a townland or district in Tipperary or surrounding counties by the name of Siskin or perhaps Seskin (Not certain of spelling?)

Three townlands in Tipperary called Seskin. None anywhere with the name of Siskin.

From today’s research it transpires that the marriage was celebrated at St Marys Church, Kilsheelan, Co Tipperary. Over 100 Guests attended.

This is Seskin townland very close to Kilsheelan and just east of Clonmel.

Sheskin townland in Kilmoleran civil parish, Co Waterford.

Seskin (or Sheskin as it is written in the Census) is on the south-western side of Carrick Beg and it’s elevated location commands a spectacular view over the town.
