Hi lodger was this family Roman Catholics ? There is a death for a Sarah McCafferty other name Keir  S P age 68 Dumbarton ..Catholic Registers death and burial records have a Sarah MCCafferty
Age 68 years burial date 10/3/1908 Glasgow St Peter's Dalbeth Cemetery lair number 735
Section 13 ( debility) relation to owner wife do these dates match ?

Hi Rosie,

Yes, that is my Sarah McCafferty who died Christmas Day 1908 at Dumbarton, so it isn't the same one who is buried in Dalbeth. She had been a widow for 13 years by that time.

Hopefully when the library opens in Dumbarton they might be able to help there was talk of them opening 3 August ?

Thanks Rosie,

I may take Don's advice and go directly to the cemetery but I'll let you know if I do find her grave. There is some discrepancy with her parents on her death certificate so, if I can find her either buried with, or by one of her known children, it would just tidy things up for me.
