He appears to change his surname as in 1884, Oct 20th , he was listed as Haugaard from Aarhus, at the baptism of his wife,s sister's child in Storring Framlev.  Confusing  Anker_pep 52 (Janet)

Hi Ian-Thanks for all your research -I would not have been able to find all these sites and iterpret them.  The ony thing now is the death records for Zidsel Marie and Christian Nielsen or Haugaard in
Aarhus city? Arhus, which would be after 1893, when their daughter was buried. I could not see in her death record where exactly she was buried, in orrder to get the area in which they lived.  If Christian's death is found, it would give his age, then his birth date would be confirmed.  Zidsel would be,47 yrs old in 1893-so they both could live on for many years.  This may be a big task but is there a burial site where you can put their names in and it shows when & where they were buried?  Just wondering.

If I have read it correctly, Ane Marie Kristen Nielsen Haugaard 's death record says in the burial column that she was buried in Aarhus nordre kirkegaard.

According to Wikipedia, Nordre Cemetery (Northern Cemetery) ....... was established in 1876, east of Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital by Nørrebrogade.

A quick look at Billiongraves shows some graves there, though I don't see hers.

There's a search site for the cemetery (in Danish) that you can search on name, birth date, death date, or a combination of these.
