This is a bit of a longshot but, trying to trace an ancestor, Joseph Conway, born Queens county Laois around 1850. I think his fathers name was John. I am looking for any information on Josephs father or mother, and Josephs wife's' family. (Dunn/es)
Joseph served in the British Army and spent a lot of time in India from 1870 to 1893, He married Mary Anne Dunne in India, Think she came from Laois, but not sure, it seems that her father was also in the Army.
Mary Anne appears to have died between 1890-1893, but I do not have any record.
