Ancestry messaging problem

I have a problem with the Ancestry messaging system. The envelope icon on the toolbar says that I have 3 messages, yet there are no new ones. Nothing received via personal email either from Ancestry. Have contacted Ancestry via Feedback in new messaging system, but no reply back. Has anyone experienced similar?

Loads of people are having the same issue, I had 21, none were new. Ancestry knows it's happening.

Thanks.  It is a bit clunky. Easy to message the wrong person too. Think it needs more function buttons. I wish there was a function to know if your message had been read or not.
