Williams first wife was Eliza. Thanks Lorraine

Are you saying that this is not the correct death advice?

[  First wife was named Eliza (nee FRIDAY).     Most NZ births to couple only have Eliza for mother's name - although on one record, mother is named "Elina Louisa" .    "Elina" seems to be a mis-transcription of the name "Eliza".    So, the "death  advice" (as you put it), is for the correct person. ]

The search on this thread though concerns wife number 2  -- Mary (nee SMITH).   ;D

Yes I am convinced that this is the correct record but Op did not seem to be perhaps with the short answer that the name was Eliza.  So I was trying to find if OP INR believed that this was the correct one.

Once we get the information that you have sought hopefully we will be on the hunt for the elusive Mary.

Well they're not here sorry.

Please try again as without it people are limited in what we can find and documentation like this will give us some clues.

Mmm ... drat.   :(    Was hoping a marriage witness might offer a clue (friend/family perhaps).

Looks like "J C McCLATCHIE" was the married daughter of the Rev. McINTOSH (the officiating minister).
