To be a witness to a 1921 marriage, she will have been born pre-1903. It could be a married name. Connachihe a good call but what about Gonigle? The marriage was in Galway so an Irish accent should not be an issue. There are 4 births of a Bridget McGonigle or Gonigle 1890 - 1901 on irishgenealogy.ie, 2 in Ballyshannon 2 in Inishowen but all in Donegal. I can find no [Mc]Gonigles in 1901/1911 censuses in Galway though.

Where in Mountbellew did that marriage take place?

No wonder I can’t find the marriage - I hadn’t noticed she was a witness  ::)

Mary might be a servant as her address is Mountbellew House so she and Bridget’s origins could be anywhere.
