Are there any records anywhere of death sentences carried out in London in the 18th century? I’ve seen court records where a sentence has been handed down but no idea if it was carried out or commuted.

Thank you, interesting but gruesome  .  I see the Wikipedia "notable executions" don't include the Cato St conspirators!

thank you horselydown! I found the relevant name there but only as a mention in someone else's confession -- it does say that the the preson had been executed. (It was a husband and wife team that I was looking for, don't know if they were both killedbut maybe -- not nice at all, as the charge was counterfeiting currency for which the punishment then, BUT ONY FOR WOMEN, was being burnt at the stake  )
