« on: Friday 31 July 20 08:46 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone

The attached is a portion of John Rawlins' will who died in Hampshire in 1803.

it begins " The ? of my personal estate ? ? will and I do direct that the ? of ? ? ? of thousand pounds an d ? / ? household goods and ? ? ? plate Simon? and china to give to my said wife for her life shall be in lieu ? and ? ? ? my son's wife....."

Then I'm completely lost I can make out some words but can't string enough together to make sense.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

Genni

thank you Bookbox, I like your suggestion. I think the Surname for William is Lamden or Lambden.
