Wey Hey!   Flash Harry came  today with his Mummy and  Daddy.
They were up North to see his other Nanny as it was her Birthday, but no B/ day kisses which FH could not understand.
He has grown but is still pocket sized!
They slept in the van which he thinks is marvellous .
Got his School uniform all ready for  —- hopefully September.
Got a repair done today by HomeServe, the waste water pipe from the
bathroom washbasin and bath was leaking ,has been since lockdown but now they are doing external repairs ,a simple seal was missing!
Water poured all over the patio when hands were washed, bath or shower taken.
The chap had no need to come in,I just turned a tap on upstairs , etc and all done in 20 minutes .
Glorious day,so bright and sunny but a good breeze ,washing dry in no time.
Neighbour it seems was dehydrated, spoke with her today and seemed OK.
Got a lemon and pepper chicken from Tesco, said 40 mins in sealed bag, then cut bag open and another 20 minutes.
Well it was really underdone !
So in for another 30 mins and OK ,but no taste of lemon or ,pepper- won’t get it again.
Flowers on my potato plants , so not too long before I can have some new potatoes.
Grown from some with legs .
Hope everyone is alright , some of us are having to still stay in , I was going to anyway ,it is the easiest course of action.
Gladioli ready to open but need staking ,job for tomorrow but weather not so good according to the forecast.
Quite a rise here in the North, but when there were 8,000 people at a gig in an Oldham park weeks ago ,what else can be expected,
So more time to garden, jig saw, phone, iPad, watch TV ,play Classic FM too loud, write ,——  note, not much housework in there !
Well Cheerio folks ,hope you all have a good day tomorrow.
Viktoria.

Yes, he is so funny, parents have explained ,as well as it can be explained ,about Covid 19, hand washing, no kissing or cuddling except with his parents, so he now asks everyone” Have you got  germs?”
He is missing playmates but my daughter’s dog is his best friend.
A very soft gentle dog of superb temperament that follows him about everywhere in normal circumstances .
She cries when she sees him and wants to go over, he lives in a property on the same piece of land as my daughter’s business premises.
The dog has a very light appetite, but of course will eat treats .
Given its teeth cleaning biscuit ,it was whining for another, so was told no ,
FH started to cry ,” You upset my friend and that has made me sad”.
FH has a sort of sibilance in his speech which is attractive and just like his maternal grandad ,amazing really something can be carried on like that.
I wonder what school will make of him as he has quite a strong Northern accent and uses local idioms etc.
Perhaps all the children will be asking each other “ Art reet?”

Saw a tortoiseshell butterfly today, I have a buddleain full bloom just now ,
there have been quite a few tortoiseshells this year which is encouraging.
Keep looking for the Drinker  Moth caterpillars there were last year but none as yet.
Something is eating my  Foxgloves  down to bare stems, don’t want to spray but  they are a mess and I have Vine weevil !!!!

No news really so hope everyone is alright .
See how you all are tomorrow perhaps.
Viktoria.
