Yes Heywood thank you, I just found it and it is difficult to make out but looks very much like the 9th October for the Marriage, it looks as if there are 2 Kinsella family members as 'witness'.

'October 9th 1851 Married John Coogan to Bridget Kinsella', witnesses look like 'Maurice Kearney and Mary Kinsella', location at end of line is 'Ballinasillouge'.

Griffiths Valuation (1850s) shows Coogan, Kinchela and Kearney both in Ballinasillogue and local townlands.

This is a nice bit of history. The project collection shows school work from 1937/39. Here is a piece written by an unknown child but collected from Patrick Coogan, 75 yrs, Ballinasillogue. He, in turn, was told it by Ml Connors of the same place. (Michael Connor shows in Griffiths too).

For future ref for anyone who may have link's to Kinsella's in Ballinasilloge, there is a possibilty that there are more births for the family, but due to missing pages and several pages been illegible I may have missed some..(I did not have success in finding Bridget Kinsella born circa 1832 who later married John Coogan in 1851)

Baptismsal records Ballinasilloge.
1827..Elizabeth to James Kinsella and Anna (maiden name Illegible)
1834..Denis to James Kinsella and Anna
1844..Patrick to James Kinsella and Ann Beahan/Behan?

1831..Mary to Patrick Kinsella and Anna Whitty.

1841..Bridget to Denis Kinsella and Ann Graham.

1842..Ann to John Kinsella and Ann Coogan.

It’s quite difficult because people weren’t that concerned or knowledgeable about their age or year of birth and the surnames are popular in that townland and area.

Here is  a baptism for ‘Brigida Kinsela’ July 22nd 1829 with parents Thomas and Maria Byrne of Ballinasilloge.

That could be a Possibilty Heywood due to the d-o-b been in the ballpark area of her death aged 54 in 1886.
There was also a son Thomas named among her children.

The area of Ballinsilloge seems to have been sparsely populated, so im presuming that the Kinsellas who were there circa mid 1820s were more than likely from the one family, the fact that in 1823 two named Kinsellas payed £16 tax (tithe allotment) in Ballinsilloge has me presuming that  they were financially comfortable or at least not in total poverty?

I understand the prob regs age variations, it seems that the large majority may have only known their correct age if it was linked to a Historical event such as Rebellion or birth of a Royal etc.

Ann Coogan married Thomas Kearney (my great-grandfather) from Rathduffmore on 15.10.1889.
Patrick Coogan married Maria Connor(s) on 4.6.1907. Both registered at Shillelagh.
good luck with your search.
