Hi I am trying to find out when this photo was taken also the name of the auction mart.
I think there is H?MM??ONS????

HANK - - ONS?  :-\

I can’t think of a surname that would fit, and “Hank” not likely to be a forename in Wales.

There is a “Hankinson” on the 1911 Welsh census, but nothing to do with Auctions. There are quite a lot of people with this surname in the 1911 England census though.

Date wise, early 1920s as a guess, judging by some of the ladies hats and the rather impressive vehicle.

In some respects it isn't dissimilar to Hankinson's at Richmond Chambers in Bournemouth:

This is online as 'Hawkinsons' but it could be Hankinsons

Nice find Matthew. That photo looks to be taken from a slightly different angle. Similar date wise  I think.
