Coldstream Guards Crest?
« on: Monday 03 August 20 10:47 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Please could anyone id the crest that is engraved in this silver plated object (which has loaded as the image at the bottom), the closest I can match is the Coldstream Guards, but the central cross looks far more embellished and there is a four point star in the centre?

Thanks

The badge, i.e. garter and motto, is from the Order of the Garter.
The arms in the middle will belong to someone who was a member?

Members of the order may encircle their heraldic arms with the Garter.
