Above, both JAMES 25 and THOMAS 30 are tagged HEAD, so which one would be brother to JOHN HALL?  Are there some cousins here?  I guess the top 3 people are one family with a possible marriage in England?

I have just explored the narrowest lanes of Gibraltar with Google Streetview.  So narrow that the streetcar could not proceed because of a couple of parked motorbikes!

I've been looking at the 1871 Gibraltar census. The transcriptions have these two or possibly three households:

North Front:

22496   HAYNES   J. H. age 21 1/2   Born SPAIN Engineer   Protestant   son
22502   HAYNES   Ann age 59 born England   No data   Protestant   wife?

(It looks like Ann is JH's mother. The ID numbers are 6 apart so there are 6 others in the North Front Haynes household(s) that I've not found yet)   

And at Roger's Ramp:

I have downloaded all of the image PDFs of the 1868 and 1871 censuses but haven't found the original images of these entries as yet.
