No birthyear or birthplace given to help with info and no info as to which unit he served with.  You have given his service number so presumably have more info ???

He wasn't born until 1920 so you will need to use the link provided above

Mention of a Bernard Albion Barnett in Surrey Advertiser 29 March 1939.
Under "Soldiers Charged with Theft"
"Two gunners of the 18th Field Artillery stationed at Blackdown Camp, Deepcut were charged with the theft of a chewing gum machine"...(remember them :) )
One was named as Bernard Albion Barnett.
Name could be a coincidence of course .
