Hayes family

Hi everyone

As usual I am stuck, I am tracing the Hayes family it is a gift for someone..

I am stuck on a Francis Hayes DOB: 1740 Hants Died 1816 Hants spouse Betty Hayes nee Webb DOB: 30 May 1745 Kingsclere Hants , died 1839 Otterbourne Hants.  They married 13 August 1765 Michelmersh Hants.
But I have found an entry for another marriage Francis to Anna Colson married Hurley 2 Oct 1794?. Also the Francis seems to cross over with the Francis I am researching but to DOB’s are way off.  Also I cannot find the father of Francis DOB 1740.
Any help appreciated, it’s possible I am on the wrong path ?

The Hayes (Hays) family see to have been living in the Otterbourne area.
Also the spellings of surnames are slightly different.

It is entirely possible/probable that the Francis who married in 1794 is Francis & Mary's son, who was baptised in 1766.
