George Thomas Leadbeater
« on: Sunday 09 August 20 12:28 BST (UK) »
George  Thomas Leadbeater  was born in Wrexham in 1852, son of Thomas and Harriet.
I have him in Wrexham in 1871 census  and possibly still there in 1878 .
I`m not finding him after that in any records,  can any one locate him.
Thanks

There's a George Leadbeater, a blacksmith aged 39 from Wrexham, in lodgings in London Road, St Albans in the 1881 census. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/7572/images/HRTRG11_1426_1432-1078

In 1871 he is at home, aged 19 and a coach smith, so could be him. Maybe he is 29.
Thanks

Not sure about these

1891 has a George T Leadbeater aged 38 b Manchester occ Blacksmith living in lodgings in Leeds.  Occ & age match 1881 entry but not birthplace.  Can’t find an earlier census for one with a Manchester birthplace or a birth reg

1893 death in Birmingham but no middle name.  No 1891 entry in Warwickshire
