Lancaster University Survey - UK
« on: Sunday 09 August 20 23:39 BST (UK) »
Here is a link to a Lancaster University Survey that needs more respondents.  It is to gather information about social interactions to try and better predict outbreaks.  Respondents complete the questionnaire anonymously:

Agreed.

Survey completed.
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

A straightforward survey to do. Questions well formed with no ambiguity making it very easy to answer.
Hope it helps to form a picture of people's behaviour.

Not sure how helpful it will really be comparing it to another weekly Covid-19 survey. Last, or one of last, questions asked how many times left home in past week which is a really simple question to answer. I was out 4 times- twice to get medicine/doctor's appointment & twice to get food for us & another household. This was NOT a typical week (normally go out only once) but will survey conclude that I and people in my postal area (only identifying geographical location) are leaving home more often than they normally have been doing? Also didn't ask reason for leaving home, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Yes, my week was very out of what we've been doing which has been staying close to home!
As it was our anniversary we decided to take a chance get away for the day so hence drive +50 miles....
It would have been a good question we're any of the journeys unusually taken from what you do normally in these times...
Otherwise I thought they were ok.
