Something is strange
There are 2 Rowland/Sales births 1926/1928 which are also registered as Griffin/Sales
No marriage to Rowland that I can find and he was a lot older than Clara & obviously previously married
Looks like Audrey was Charles biological daughter which should be reflected in her marriage cert. I don’t buy the “argument” explanation. If he registered the birth as her father - how did he explain that to the registrar? Her birth cert may be as Griffin but should show her father as Charles Rowland
