1891 census occupation
« on: Monday 10 August 20 20:53 BST (UK) »
Hi, my ancestors occupation in 1891 is slightly unreadable.  I have attached a screenshot.  It looks like it says ‘Sheet ....tent Maker’  I can’t make out the middle word properly.

Any ideas?

It looks like he was a ‘Sheet and Tent Maker’.  Never heard of that occupation before!
A person in the house next door has ‘Tarpaulin Sheet Maker’ as occupation so that sort of ties in, must have been a local company I guess they both worked in.
Thank you
