Robert Cronshaw
« on: Wednesday 12 August 20 16:28 BST (UK) »
I am struggling to find details of the death, or any burial information for Robert Cronshaw born 1856 in Clayton Le Moor, Lancashire.
I know from his Will that he died 15th October 1936 at the Municipal Hospital, Burnley.
Any information would be appreciated.
Anson, Neville, Cook, Knight, Bennett, Silverwood Strickland

I suspect that the death date on the probate record is wrong as the address given in the probate index is the same as that burial entry

ADDED There was no will, it is an administration.  A copy of it will cost £1.50 from the probate office but will probably not give you a lot more information than the index does.

Details from the Probate Calendar show that there was no Will, just an Administration.

Great minds think alike!   ;)

I've been caught out a few times thinking I'd found a Will but then realised it was an Administration.

;D   ;D.  It is something that I am more aware of now.

I cannot see anything in the online newspapers about his death.
