Our Kenneth - Wirral

I am following in the footsteps of a distant relative Kenneth Jones born 1934 in Huyton liverpool . I know he Marries a Valerie Hender in 1959 in Wallasey. I am having trouble going back and would like info about his lineage/Parents etc if possible. I appreciate this very much . Thanks.

FreeBMD have a birth registration in March quarter 1934 - Prescot District (which covers Huyton) with mother's maiden name of Brooks.

Yes !. Both Kenneth and Valerie are deceased..

You can use freebmd to look up his parents marriage as you have his mmn but nothing is showing in Prescot.  You may have to buy a copy of his birth cert to establish his parents names or contact any of the 4 children born to the marriage for info

Valerie Estelle Jones nee Hender was b 24.7.1935 and died 3.9.2003 - reg district Birkenhead

Have you looked for him in 1939 register ? You never know you may find him with his parents which will take you another generation back .

There are 2 Kenneth Jones deaths - both in 2012 and both born 1934 but neither show full birthdate.  As his birth was registered March qtr 1934 there is also the possibility he was born late December 1933

Tracing a Kenneth Jones born 1934 Huyton . All i know is that he was in the Kings Regiment in Korea WW2 . Apparently he was awarded a medal for bravery here. Ken is proving to be elusive and if anyone could shed light on his War day's i would be so grateful .
