Sorry for the length of this post.
The name on the marriage license is clearly Colvin, not Cohen.  The L is distinctly separate from the V that follows.

Moreover, it is highly unlikely that Kate Robinson, from a longtime Protestant Charlton Co family (her brothers served in the Confederal Army), would have married a Jewish person.  She was about 16/17 at the time of the marriage (born 1876).   It is more likely the L.S. Colvin was approximately the same age as she, meaning he was born ca. 1870s.

To be more clear, Kate Robinson age 16/17 married L.S. Colvin in October 1893 in Charlton, where her family lived for several generations.  There were apparently no children of this marriage (or they died in infancy).  By 1898/99, something happened such that she married Samuel Edgar Price (no marriage record has been found), born 1873/74.  His family origin is not disputed, can be traced back in NC to the 1840s.

She could only have been able to marry Samuel Edgar Price if Colvin was dead, or  had deserted her, or gotten a divorce (highly unlikely).  The only record we have thereafter is the 1900 census, which lists Kate Price and her son Clifford Price, she is a widow (of Samuel Edgar Price, not Colvin), and is back living with her family in Charlton Co.  Her later history is clear -- 3rd marriage to Hansford Rhoden, etc.

We actually have 2 mysteries here -- what happened to L.S. Colvin such that she was able to re-marry S.E. Price?   And what happened to Samuel Price to leave her a widow by 1900?
Family lore says he "died in the Okeefenokee Swamp."  The only record I can find of someone matching his description (S.E. Price, white, age 25, occupation a GUARD, is a Voter Registration book from Bulloch Co., listed him as from the town of Echo.  It is possible that Samuel and Kate lived in Bulloch Co, and after his death, she returned to her family in Charlton Co.

There is no marriage record for Samuel and Kate, and Georgia does not have death records as early as 1899.

The only listing I can find re L.S. Colvin is an abscure death in Florida in 1917, in which L.S. Colvin, a laborer, committed suicide, being about 40 years old.  This is unlikely to be him, as it would have meant a desertion or a divorce back in the 1890s.

I hope that clears up my predicament.

Thanks for all the suggestions, but the name is Colvin (or Colven), not Cohen.

So do you have this?  https://tinyurl.com/y5mq2e29

Liveous/Livious Calvin

It seems to match in with his brother, WH from the Tampa obit.

He is in the 1880 census with parents and siblings.  There is also a link to him, Livious S Colvin, having enlisted in Co.A, 2nd NC Inf for the Spanish American War.

I can't open this paper, so I don't know what this in reference to--seems to be a listing of servicemen.

That's right. It was a roster of men comprising company F lost or captured in the Philippine Islands -
