Manchester Library's
« on: Saturday 15 August 20 08:58 BST (UK) »
Good Morning,
Being a few thousand miles away, can you please tell me what the  Status is with the Manchester Library's, both Central and I assume Withington has one.      Are they open for some services, in particular, Electoral Roll search, either in person with strict control, or a staff search.
Many thanks. :)

Does this help?

I think those restrictions apply to most if not all areas of the UK, for instand Leeds Central library is only open for 4 hours per day and the family history section is still closed so cannot get any research done.

My Apologies for being a little late coming back, but many thanks to you heywood and Crumblie, for your references, with details for both Central/Withington.
I hadn't perhaps fully appreciated the Logistics of the current service, but the Tel No's confirmation will enable a booking, as I had thought  there was nobody there when I rang.
Thanks again, and stay safe ! :)
