Kathleen (Catherine) Mabel Quatermass (1886-1897) daughter of John Smith Quatermass and Henrietta ? of Hemel Hempstead, murdered on 16th July 1896.

Suggested that she was a niece of Anna Maria Quatermass (1856-1918) but I can find no link. Can anybody assist?

Suggest you look for John on earlier census entries to establish his siblings.  If he doesn't have one called Anna Maria - check freebmd to see if any of his brothers married somebody of that name

Have you checked freebmd for a birth for Anna Maria Quatermass - I can see one in 1854
