Thank you so much, sounds like this could be our man, we don't have any medals unfortunately. I'll see what else I can find and post any results.

"The Battle of Waterloo" - ho ho!

There's a possibility in the medal rolls: Albert Graham 26881 served with 13th Kings Liverpool Regiment, and then the 2nd. Embarked for France 6/12/1915. He's also on the India Medal roll, with a clasp for the Afghanistan campaign in 1919. Curiously Ancestry has transcribed that one as "Battle of Waterloo" 1815 !
I was able to download a digital copy of Albert's Medal card from the National Archives for free. Yay!

Medal card of Graham, Albert Corps: Liverpool Regiment Regiment No: 26881 ...
Catalogue reference: WO 372/8/88238

In case you're not aware (apologies if you are) he first went overseas with the 13/KLR
where he received his wounds.
They were already in France when he was posted to them as his 14/15 Star roll has
an entry date of Dec. 1915. 13/KLR went in Sept. 1915.
He probably transferred to the 2nd. Btn. after recovering from his wounds.
This is what the LLT says:
13th (Service) Battalion
Formed at Seaforth in September 1914 as part of K3 and attached as Army Troops to 25th Division.
February 1915 : transferred to 76th Brigade in same Division.
27 September 1915 : landed at Le Havre.
15 October 1915 : transferred with Brigade to 3rd Division.
23 October 1915 : transferred to 8th Brigade in same Division.
4 April 1916 : transferred to 9th Brigade in same Division.

2nd Battalion
August 1914 : in Peshawar in India. Part of 1st (Peshawar) Brigade, 1st (Peshawar) Division of Indian Army. Remained in India throughout the war. Moved to 10th Brigade in 4th (Quetta) Division December 1917.

Thank you jim1  I'm really impressed with your depth of knowledge about WW1 and your ability to easily read the records - it's been a big help.
