This is the family I suspect Robert Hogg may have belonged to (could be very wrong though  :-\) - Forest Rd 48 Selkirk - 1901

We can try and work the Hogg line forward if we have the details confirmed.

Oh wow - think I should buy a lottery ticket  :)  Did it give Maggie's Patterson parents ? (George Patterson  & Margaret Scott)
Might be possible to trace that Patterson Aunt that was named on a passenger list.

If George Patterson/Paterson born 13 September 1859 Scotland son of George Paterson/Patterson and Isabella Smith on this 1871 census - has a brother James Patterson born 24 April 1962 Selkirk Scotland then he died New Westminster British Columbia 18 June 1935.  The spouse of James Patterson would be Mary Ann Patterson. That would be the aunt listed on the passenger list.
