Thank you for the picture of Springfield, it is much clearer than the one i found using google maps.
How would i find your photo if i wanted to google search for it? (rather than follow the link)

Hi, I live in Springfield.  I've spent the last few seeks researching the people who lived here over the last 200 years including George Arthur Dickson.  I have found his will and the newspaper report of his funeral (flags at half mast in Chester etc.  No photos but have  lots more information about GAD if there are other things you would like to know then I'm happy to share.

Have a look at web site 'Vision of Britain' - Newton by Chester. Mentions a Dickson living at Newton Villa, which was by what is now Dickson Drive Fields.
