Convict Permission to Marry Process in Australia
« on: Tuesday 18 August 20 00:21 BST (UK) »
Hi
I have just a general question. Does anyone know what the process was for a person to apply for permission to marry (either a convict marrying a convict or a convict marrying a free person). I have several convicts in my family tree both to NSW and to Tasmania. Just curious to know more about the process.
Thanks
Stephanie.
