Fletching Manorial Records
« on: Tuesday 18 August 20 01:24 BST (UK) »
Hi

Does anyone know if any manorial records for Fletching are available online, either in original form or as part of texts/books?

I've found a list of references and page numbers I've made which states "Fletching Manorial Records online" and gives a list of surnames and page numbers.

Unfortunately I don't have any reference of where the details came from.

Here's hoping someone may be able to help.

Matt

NAtional Archives have a MAnorial Documents Register

http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/results/c?_sf=textstman&_tn=fletching&_ocn=Sussex&_naet=M&_

Fletching itself is down the last, but others on this list also seem to include Fletching.
Lane, Burgess: Cheshire. Finney, Rogers, Gilman:Derbys
Cochran, Nicol, Paton, Bruce:Scotland. Bertolle:London
Bainbridge, Christman, Jeffs: Staffs

Hi Matt
It might have been from me, regarding the references to the Bottings in the Sheffield Manor records

On FamilySearch, but only one of the microfilms can be viewed online (the other one does have a DGS number though)

Hi Jon

Yep you're right. I found the other half of my notes this morning which included the details about the Bottings.

I've now found the records on Familysearch but for some odd reason I can't find any of the people I made notes for!

Hopefully there's an index on that film and I can double check my references.

Matt
