Emma and John William Hendley circa 1862

I am at a loss to know which forum to post this question so I am starting with Emma.  The 1911 census has Emma Hendley born circa 1862 in Ince, Lancashire - married.  Her husband is given as John William Hendley born circa 1863 in Staffordshire.  The 1901 census has Emma birthplace Wigan, Lancashire, England and William Handley birthplace Oldbury Staffordshire and shows their first son William born circa 1884 in Killamarsh Derbyshire.  I have checked the births of all their children and they all have the mothers maiden name given as Whippey.  I have tried to find the birth of Emma and her marriage either to John William Hendley or Handley or just William with her surname as Whippey with no success.  I am now at a loss so if anyone can give me a glimmer of hope I will be very happy.

Living next door in 1881 are the Whippey family, probably Emma's parents
William age 45 bn Somerset
Sarah 43 bn Oldbury, Staffordshire

That is great but I can't find any evidence of a marriage between either Emma Hunt, Ward or Wippey to Hendley or Handley and that is my frustration.

She may still have been married to Henry Ward and just left him to live with John Hendley.

The church record of Emma Matilda's marriage to Henry Ward is on line - 25th Dec 1880.

Emma Matilda Whippey aged 18 - father's name William Whippey (Occupation looks like 'Turner' but difficult to decipher.)

Husband, Henry Ward aged 19 occupation Miner - father is Henry also. Abodes of both are Rotherham.

An Eliza Whippey is one of the witnesses - but I can't decipher the other one - Looks like William Hy ?day.

The 1841 census has  Rebecca married to William Price, one of their children being Sarah Price.
The 1851 census has Rebecca Price a widow and Sarah Price her daughter is living with her.
The 1861 census has Rebecca Price a widow living with her daughter Sarah Price and a lodger John Lines.
he 1871 has own Ines and Rebecca Now given as Head and Wife now living with her daughter Sarah Whippy (nee Price which ties in with the birth registration as mmm) and her husband or partner William Whippey.  I cannot find a marriage for John Lines and Rebecca Price or for William Whippey and Sarah so while things are clearer there are still some key data missing.
