The Inventory of the goodes and chattells late
of Willm Seberne of Birmingham in the
county of ............................

No matter how long I look at that I cannot make the county = Warwickshire - was it formerly named what ever this says?

What is written is warr, with a mark at the end indicating the word continues.

It's a standard contraction for the County now known as Warwickshire.

Note also that the surname is most likely Severne.  See the v in Inventory.

Look for a b to compare and post if unsure.

yes, I understand it as Severne, but I was not sure whether to transcribe it as that here.

So if it is Warr.  Is the word following  "deceased" ?
