No matter how long I look at that I cannot make the county = Warwickshire - was it formerly named what ever this says?

What is written is warr, with a mark at the end indicating the word continues.

It's a standard contraction for the County now known as Warwickshire.

Note also that the surname is most likely Severne.  See the v in Inventory.

Look for a b to compare and post if unsure.

So if it is Warr.  Is the word following  "deceased" ?

You are correct Barry, once you know it's fine and seems so obvious. It's the getting there that is the challenge!
